Eligible project coasts 797 193,31 Eur : maximum eligible cost of the project up to 707 509,06 EUR, of which up to 601 382,70 EUR grant is Mechanism funds and up to 106 126,36 EUR is national of co-financing.

Aim of the project/Project description:

The project „Kamariškės manor - the central cultural space of Zarasai region based on history, creation, innovations and cooperation”, during the three-year implementation period aims to create the manor as an international space for the creation and cooperation of visual arts and musical artists.
Project goal is to empower the historical Kamariškės manor as a central space of cultural life in Zarasai district, by combining different sectors, local and international cultural resources, to create a network of mutual cooperation.
Objectives:
1.By applying creative placemaking methodology, create preconditions for the development of cultural network and services in Zarasai district, developing Kamariskes manor as a central space.
2.To preserve and restore the Kamariškės manor and adapt it to the provision of cultural services, promotion of cultural entrepreneurship, develop the space for creators' creativity, recreation and cooperation.
3.To create, test and develop sustainable local, national and international cultural business - a space for creative and collaborative creation for visual arts and musical artists and implement a cultural entrepreneurship acceleration program focused on creators of Zarasai district, international cooperation.

Restored historic manor and developed unique space in the cultural heritage, for partners will create preconditions to develop services that would improve the local cultural, social and public well-being, strengthen the local economy:
- Support networks for local artists to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and other competencies needed in creative business.
- Strengthening cooperation between local, national and international creators, promoting innovations in creating arts by combining visual arts and music, promote collaboration between creators of different generations.
- Accessibility of higher cultural services to the local community, ensuring openness of the results of exhibitions, music and plein airs of visiting creators in Kamariškės manor, on the other hand, to create opportunities for the community to use the competencies of visiting creators.
- Encouraging local entrepreneurship - not only to shape the cultural business model together with the local community, but also to identify the role of each partner and start building the local services infrastructure that the cultural business model will need to fulfil visitor’s needs, thus strengthening the local economy.

Project partners:
Project will be implemented in partnership with NOPA, the Norwegian Society of Composers and Lyricists (Norway), Zarasai District Municipality Administration, Zarasai district Samaniai community “Dvargantis”, Suviekas village community of Zarasai district and Dusetos community.
