The main aim of the project is to reduce negative impact on the environment and at the same time increasing company’s competitiveness. The project will introduce a firewood drying technology that will reduce the firewood drying time by almost 30%. Changes in the firewood drying process will significantly reduce the amount of electricity and biofuels used in production, as well as the amount of pollutants (carbon monoxide) emitted into the environment. It will also bring significant benefits to the customers of the company – faster turnaround of customers orders, higher product quality, better value for money.
› Project partner VEPAK AS has significant experience in the development and commercialisation of innovative and environment-friendly solutions for the wood industry and consulting other companies on the implementation of these technologies.
