Due to current economic and social trends, the market for vehicle recycling, the purchase of scrap metal and recycling into secondary raw materials has great potential. It is directly in line with the EU's horizontal environmental policy, with Directive 2000/53 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council requiring 95% of the mass of a vehicle to be recycled, with a reuse or recycling rate of at least 85%.

Project aims
To create a unique national-scale automated waste management system in Lithuania and in the Baltic region in general, using the latest and most advanced technologies developed by the EU;
With the implementation of the closed-loop automotive waste management process, it will be possible to maximally sort car scrap, select and prepare valuable non-ferrous metals for secondary use, and separate plastics;
The project will contribute to the goals set by the EU directive - at least 85% of secondary raw materials will be recovered from end-of-life vehicles (ENPs), which will be reused or recycled.
