The aim of the project:
The aim of this project is to establish the model of the welfare consultant services in Kaunas district municipality in order to improve the access to mental health care services of the community and reduce the number of mental and behavioral disorders.

The aim of this project is to establish the model of the welfare consultant services in Kaunas district municipality in order to improve the access to mental health care services of the community and reduce the number of mental and behavioral disorders.
The project includes:
- To train 3 specialists to provide well-being adviser services.
- Carry out simple repairs to the well-being advisers’ offices and provide them with all the necessary equipment and furniture.
- To publicize and popularize the services of the well-being advisor through various means of publicity.
- Provide well-being advisor services for at least 800 people.
Project benefits:
Decreased morbidity of mental and behavioral disorders, depression in Kaunas district municipality. Improved access to mental health care. The introduction of the welfare service delivery model has created new community services for local people that allow them to visit safely and ensure privacy. The services provided will increase the situation of people in need of welfare counselors and help to address mental health issues. The municipality will provide premises for the provision of services, where both during the project and after the end of the project activities it will be possible to attend classes that enable the continuity of services for a period of at least 5 years.
