The main goal of the project is increasing the production capacity of AB Lietkabelis with ICT technologies, creating conditions for the growth of labor productivity.
Project aims
COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the rising cost of energy resources, the rising cost of human resources, the EU's goals in the areas of sustainable economy and ecology pose risks - disruptions in supply chains, price fluctuations, rising labor costs. The problem to be solved this year is the growing demand for more sustainable products using circular, digital economy principles in the production process, i.e. implementing measures that correspond to the concept of green industry. Taking this into account, the need to increase production volumes by investing in innovative ICT (digitalized technologies) integrated equipment, which allows the production of automotive wires in an automated, more efficient and less polluting way, generating a minimized amount of waste, has been identified. The planned investments will allow expand production capacity, which will increase work productivity. Products with higher added value will be offered. The project envisages investments in digital production technologies - automated digital technology - a new innovative automotive wire production line. The goals of the project will be achieved in cooperation with a partner from the Kingdom of Norway.
