The main goal of the project is to increase productivity in the company UAB "A-PAK" and to grow the scope of activities, strengthening its position in the market in accordance with the used cardboard processing technologies, process efficiency and employee involvement. The company sets itself ambitious goals for the growth of business volumes, to increase turnover more than twice over the next five years and to more actively develop export volumes to neighboring markets.
Project aims
The main problem faced by A-PAK UAB is low production volumes. Most of the work in the production process is done manually and therefore takes a long time. In addition, the duration of the process and the quality of the work depend on the employees. In order to increase the production volume and reduce the influence of the human factor, automation and digitalisation of the production process will be carried out.
The long-term objective of the project is to increase productivity in A-PAK UAB and to increase the volume of activity by strengthening its market position in terms of cardboard processing technologies, process efficiency and employee involvement. The company has ambitious targets for growth in business volumes, to more than double its turnover in the next five years and to increase its export volumes to neighbouring markets.
The project will include production process equipment with integrated digitalisation technologies, which will be specifically designed for specific production cycles. The production line will be managed through a common digitised system that will allow the collection of information, the monitoring of production processes and the preparation of the optimal production plan according to the production matrix of the equipment, the raw material delivery matrix and the parameters of the equipment adjustment.
